Thanks again Darkbreeze but uninstalling the driver, rebooting and then installing the most recent one downloaded from the Lenovo website was one of the first things I tried. I suggest your reinstall the Audio Driver from Device Manager. The sound works fine. When I open Volume Mixer it reads: Keep me posted, how it goes! Didn’t find what you were looking for? Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 Drivers lost during Windows 10 Install
When I installed Windows 10, my sound stopped working and when I went in to troubleshoot and smartqudio the drivers to try and get it working again, it would not install the drivers for the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio sound card. I have been uninstalling and reinstalling from device manager.
