Thanks for all the help so far. Since the driver itself is not as versatile as it’s ndiswrapper equivalent alot of people choose to use ndiswrapper instead hence the how-to. So instead of simply ignoring the vast wealth of knowledge available by posting dll own question, I’ll search first to make sure my issue hasn’t already been covered. Is there a way to do this offline?

That was a long time ago, 9 pages back! And thanks a bunch, it was a breeze! Keep telling your friends that ubuntu is a great alternative ddll that cough I think it may died a couple of times too.
I only started coming on this forum again as I switched to Gusty then I noticed this thread in my control panel. Otherwise try a couple of different network managers wicd, wifi-radar, etcsome people seem to have success with one network manager where others can only get things running with another.
Until then, I’ll stick to windows again. Those debugging things wouldn’t have returned anything unless you already had ndiswrapper installed, so that’s ok.
